The Lovington High School Wildcats should definitely be celebrated for bringing home 16 State Championships in football, and nothing should ever be taken away from that achievement. In fact, we hope the trend continues for many years to come. But Lovington as a city is more than football due to its unique climate and geographic location close to some mighty popular sports venues. There’s rodeo and skiing. Bicycling and running.
